bad reviews: joe queenan

ah, the pleasure of a truly awful review

"If you have bought this book, you are already seventeen quid down. Cut your losses: don't read it."

an excerpt from the book was published in the guardian, it really was terrible.

which is weird, because joe queenan used to be the master of the devastating review

Queenan's book on American trash culture is good. I don't think it's possible for him to translate it, though. (In passing, Bill Bryson is also a bit of a wanker.)
